Jon’s expertise in British produce, in-depth knowledge of ingredients, and unique presenting style have made him a popular figure on the UK Food Festival scene. He has shared the stage with some of the UK’s most well-recognized chefs, including Angelica and Crafthouse Head Chef Simon Jewitt and 2019 Great British Bake-Off winner David Atherton, at Yorkshire’s foodie Glastonbury, the Malton Food Lovers Festival.

Currently, Jon is the head chef at the Feversham Arms Hotel in Helmsley, where he focuses on Yorkshire fare and showcases the best local producers and growers on his menu. His seasonal menus feature locally sourced salt-aged Loin of Yorkshire Beef, North Sea Monkfish tail, and Mosaic of East Coast Seafood starter. In addition, Jon is passionate about supporting small independent businesses and artisan producers.
